What is Khmer Voice: The Cambodian Literary Connection?

Khmer Voice: The Cambodian Literary Connection  also known as Khmer Voice In Poetry (KVIP) is a club for young and adult Cambodians interested in expressing themselves through poems and stories. The club was founded by Thavrith J. Bunkasem, a counselor working with at risk youth in 1995. Originally, there were approximately 15 members actively writing and submitting their works. Now, there are more and more Khmer writers joining Khmer Voice: The Cambodian Literary Connection.

The KVIP's primary goal is to provide interested members with a vehicle to communicate their thoughts, fears, hopes, and fantasies in addition to instilling pride as Cambodians living in America or other foreign lands.
