You are the rise of my wake
By Chath pierSath
You are the rise of my wake
The beauty in my bliss
The wishbone of my desire

I want you like I want holds wrapped around my body
Like a shroud of sea mist around the earth

I think of you with my sense of smell
Searching for you with my nose searching for spring flowers
Hungering like a starved child in needs of arms
To protect and secure his supply of food

You are my eyes when I am blind
You are the kindness of the cruelty I’ve come to know
You are my heart when I am heartless

With you I survive
The thought of you brings smiles to my face
And radiance to my eyes

I do love dance to keep you in my life
