My Wild Love

by  Cheourn Touch

My wild love was dancing,
She danced in the midnight hour,
As I was out working,
A place near the village pier,
Like fireworks she was burning,
She burned through the calendar,
Like a supernova she was burning,
She burned like it was over.

My wild love had said to me,
She said I never loved her,
I took a rope by her small hands,
And led her to the promised land.
Her fingers tore my flesh,
With her eyes to the stars,
I could not let her go
Because I had gone to far.

My wild love has left me,
She left me in the cold.
She went out to the sea,
That was all I was told.
She sails with dead pirates.
She sings under the dark seas.
Below the whispering waves,
She put me out of my misery.

My wild love is out and dancing,
She dances over my graves,
I reach out to grab her,
So that she can be with me ONCE again.
