- My Wild Love

- My
wild love was dancing,
- She
danced in the midnight hour,
- As I
was out working,
- A
place near the village pier,
- Like
fireworks she was burning,
- She
burned through the calendar,
- Like
a supernova she was burning,
- She
burned like it was over.
-
- My
wild love had said to me,
- She
said I never loved her,
- I
took a rope by her small hands,
- And
led her to the promised land.
- Her
fingers tore my flesh,
- With
her eyes to the stars,
- I
could not let her go
- Because
I had gone to far.
-
- My
wild love has left me,
- She
left me in the cold.
- She
went out to the sea,
- That
was all I was told.
- She
sails with dead pirates.
- She
sings under the dark seas.
- Below
the whispering waves,
- She
put me out of my misery.
-
- My
wild love is out and dancing,
- She
dances over my graves,
- I
reach out to grab her,
- So
that she can be with me ONCE again.
